Health Group Buys Wynnum Building
An indigenous health service has purchased a commercial building in the Wynnum CBD on Brisbane’s bayside to establish a new medical centre.
The property at 85 Edith Street, Wynnum, was sold to the Yulu-Burri-Ba Aboriginal Corporation for Community Health by Ray White Commercial Bayside’s Abe Crowther and Nathan Moore on behalf of a private seller for an undisclosed sum.
Abe Crowther said Yulu-Burri-Ba will owner occupy the property and set it up as a medical centre. The corporation also has medical centres at nearby Capalaba and at Dunwich on North Stradbroke Island.
“This two storey building was recently fully refurbished and is ideal for use as a medical centre,” he said.
“The building provides approximately 486 sqm of commercial office and retail space. There is also a large three bedroom flat at the rear of the property.”
Nathan Moore said the site is located in the heart of the Wynnum CBD and is close to shopping centres and cafes.
“Vehicle access to the site is via a side driveway and there is a freestanding lock up garage and car port at the rear of the property and plenty of space for additional parking,” he said.
Wynnum is located on the shores of Moreton Bay and is approximately 16km east of the Brisbane CBD.
